Priya won the Gold medal for her country by beating Belarus rival Kseniya Patapovich 5-0 in the 73 kg weight category.
In the past, Priya has performed consistently and her hard work gives a good result for the country. In the 2019 edition she won the gold medal of Khelo India in Pune and in the same year she won another gold at the 17th School Games that were held in Delhi. furthermore, Priya won two more gold medals in 2020.
