Rainfall in the desert country UAE's National Center of Meteorology came up to beat the 50-degree heat through cloud seeding with a unique solution by creating fake rain using drones.
To increase the rainfall National Center of Meteorology came up with a solution with drone technology also known as cloud seeding that’s a single way to beat the summer heat. With the innovative technology, they have applied an electric shock to the cloud which reacts to coalesce and produce water. It is a part of the continuous effort to produce more rainfall in the Gulf country by cloud seeding operations. On a normal day just four inches of rainfall in the UAE.
In 2017 $15 million had been invested in nine different rain-making projects. Silver iodide chemicals release by the drone into the clouds in order to cause more rainfall. Another procedure has been trialed in the UAE by generating an electric charge into the cloud to produce rainfall.
The main goal of this technology is to create rain more efficiently by cloud seeding technology that can help in suffering from the water problem.
